SPOKANE, Wash. – The No. 8 Gonzaga Bulldogs (20-1, 8-0) had no trouble against the Pepperdine Waves (6-15, 1-7), earning win No. 20 with a 84-60 drubbing.
The Zags now have 29-straight seasons with 20 or more wins, the second-longest streak in college basketball behind Kansas’ 37.
GU won their 51st in a row against Pepperdine behind another huge night from freshman Davis Fogle, scoring 17 points in 26 minutes off the bench. The Anacortes native added three rebounds and four assists.
Walk-on forward Noah Haaland had a career night, scoring his first double-digit point total ever combined with a perfect 4-4 from the field and swishing his two free throw attempts.
The Zags next host the San Francisco Dons this Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
