Spokane, WASH. — The Gonzaga Bulldogs dropped in the latest AP Poll released Monday morning, despite winning their one game last week.
The 17-4-1 Zags are now #9 in the nation, narrowly behind Nebraska (16-0) who beat both Ohio State and Indiana on the road last week. Nebraska has 1056 points in the poll, and the Zags have 1050.
Gonzaga needed a strong second half Thursday to beat Santa Clara 89-77, with 34 points and 11 rebounds from Graham Ike. He shot 13-17 from the field.
Gonzaga plays at Washington State on Thursday.
