SPOKANE, Wash. – The popular anime “ONE PIECE” includes the Gonzaga Bulldogs among its new “ONE PIECE College Basketball US Voyage”.
The Zags, Rutgers, St. John’s, Houston and Illinois make the lineup for promotion.
Gonzaga’s home games against San Francisco (Jan. 24), Saint Mary’s (Jan. 31) and Washington State (Feb. 10) will feature the brand, including ONE PIECE t-shirt tosses, student section giveaways, and a free Gonzaga-ONE PIECE poster for all fans.
The Saint Mary’s game will also feature a special halftime show, featuring the GU marching band and cheer squads performing the ONE PIECE theme song.
The ONE PIECE live action adaptation’s second season releases on Netflix on March 10.
