MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals (9-6, 1-1 Big Sky) fell short in a comeback effort against the Montana Grizzlies (9-7, 3-0 Big Sky), 79-73.
The Vandals took a two-point lead inside 90 seconds to go in the game, but the Grizz would rip a 6-0 finish to take the road win.
Idaho outrebounded Montana and dominated on offensive rebounds, but they struggled from beyond the arc and missed 10 free throws.
Idaho next hosts the Montana State Bobcats this Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
