SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Fifteen people were arrested last week as part of a ‘warrant round-up’ in Spokane County. On the 10th and 11th, Spokane Valley Police, the Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force conducted a warrant surge across the City of Spokane Valley and Spokane County.
In a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, deputies say the suspects were wanted for crimes such as Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Rape of a Child, Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Burglary 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Attempt to Elude a Police Vehicle, Organized Retail Theft 2nd Degree, DUI, Ignition Interlock Violations, and other offenses.
Deputies say the focus of the operation was to increase public safety by identifying, locating, and arresting wanted suspects.
The Sheriff’s Office put out a detailed list of the 15 suspects who were arrested and booked into jail, and the crimes they’re accused of:
Elijah Sargent (28)
Sargent was arrested on a Felony Washington State Department of Corrections Escape from Community Custody Warrant related to the original charge of Assault 2nd Degree.
Mickey Sumey (50)
Sumey was arrested on a Felony Washington State Department of Corrections Escape from Community Custody Warrant related to the original charges of Burglary 1st Degree and Burglary 2nd Degree.
William Pal (30)
Pal was arrested on his Felony Warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender related to an original charge of Rape of a Child.
Kyle Teeples (34)
Teeples was arrested by Airway Heights Police Officers, Spokane Valley Deputies, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies, and United States Marshals Service PNVOTF members. He was booked into the Spokane County Jail for a new charge of Unlawful Possession (felon) of a Firearm and is being held on a United States Marshal Hold.
Samantha Walker (28)
Walker was arrested on a Spokane County Superior Court Felony Warrant for Robbery 1st Degree.
Lavonda M. Rios (39)
Nicolas J. Bohannon (23)
Rios was arrested on two Felony Warrants for Burglary 2nd Degree, Failure to Appear-Organized Retail Theft 2nd Degree, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Rios was in the vehicle with a male, Nicolas J. Bohannon, who was subsequently arrested for Violation of a valid Court Order of Protection between the two. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant after a K9 alerted, indicating the possible presence of illegal narcotics in the car.
Dwayne J. Tolbert (35)
Tolbert was arrested on a Felony Washington State Department of Corrections Escape from Community Custody Warrant related to an original charge of Burglary 2nd Degree. Tolbert also had a valid Idaho Felony Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Perris C. Wiser (34)
Wiser was arrested on two Bonner County, Idaho, Felony Arrest Warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance, resulting in a new Felony Charge of Fugitive from Justice.
Jason W. Gilmore (56)
During the operation, Deputies contacted Gilmore, who was found to have an active Misdemeanor Warrant, and he was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail.
Jesse A. Young (40)
Young was arrested and booked for a valid Possession of a Controlled Substance Warrant.
Justin J. Mager (41)
Mager was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on his Felony Warrant for Attempt to Elude a Police Vehicle.
Blake R. Williams (30)
Williams was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on his Felony Warrant for Attempt to Elude a Police Vehicle.
Levi A. Clarke (33)
Clarke was found in Washington State custody on unrelated charges. He was transported back on new Felony and Misdemeanor Warrants for Attempt to Elude a Police Vehicle, Driving with a Revoked License 1st Degree-Habitual Offender, and Retail Theft 2nd Degree. He is also being held on a Washington State Department of Corrections Hold.
Jamal M. Hight (23)
Hight was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on valid Misdemeanor Warrants for DUI and Ignition Interlock Device Required.
