A fatal two-vehicle crash has closed eastbound Highway 904 near Four Lakes, about 4 miles north of Cheney, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Troopers said a man drifted into the oncoming lane and struck another vehicle head-on, killing him. The other driver and passenger were injured and taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The collision was reported at 9:24 a.m.
There are no signs of impairment. The crash may have been caused by a medical event, and the investigation is ongoing, said WSP
WSP said the roadway will remain closed for several hours for investigation.
Traffic is moving through a single lane using the left-turn lane, and WSDOT East is advising drivers to use alternate routes.
The identity of the man who died has not been released.
