DOUGLAS COUNTY, WA — A months-long investigation into a major drug distribution network culminated Monday with the seizure of more than $1.3 million worth of narcotics and four arrests across three Washington counties.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted the King County Sheriff’s Office Precinct 4 Special Emphasis Team in “Operation Eastbound and Down,” which targeted a Bridgeport-based supplier distributing drugs to dealers throughout King, Pierce and Snohomish counties.
Detectives executed search warrants at locations in Bridgeport, Lynnwood and Kirkland on Monday, November 10, 2025, seizing 70.55 pounds of methamphetamine, 16 pounds of fentanyl powder, 6.83 pounds of heroin and 1.67 pounds of cocaine. Authorities also seized one handgun, a vehicle and $83,652 in drug proceeds.
King County investigators had tracked the operation for several months after identifying that the primary suspect and an accomplice were receiving shipments of more than 100 pounds of narcotics every few weeks for distribution across the region.
The 16-pound fentanyl seizure is particularly significant since just two milligrams can be lethal, making this equivalent to potentially millions of deadly doses.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office thanked the King County Sheriff’s Office for its leadership throughout the investigation.
This is a developing story.
