MOSCOW, Idaho — Today marks three years since four University of Idaho students were murdered, and one victim’s family is calling for production to stop on a movie about the deaths.
The family of Kaylee Goncalves is endorsing an online petition calling for a Lifetime movie on the murders to stop. In a statement, the Goncalves family said, “This is a nightmare for us. We do not want Kaylee being portrayed in a slasher film.”
Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin were murdered by Bryan Kohberger in an off-campus Moscow home. Kohberger is spending life in prison.
