SPOKANE, Wash. — Basketball fans will be able to enjoy a newly overhauled court at Fish Lake Regional Park thanks to the Spokane Parks Foundation.
The Spokane Parks Foundation awarded a grant to Spokane County Parks, Recreation and Golf to overhaul the old court and replace it with a new concrete court, regulation-size basketball pole, backboard and hoop.
The overhaul process started in July. Within weeks, the court was finished and connected to an ADA pathway.
“We can’t wait to hear basketballs swish through the net during half-court games at the recently completed Fish Lake Regional basketball court,” the Spokane Parks Foundation said in a Facebook post.
