COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d’Alene Parks Department and Coeur d’Alene Fire Department are planning a prescribed burn on Tubbs Hill next week.
The burn is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Over the summer, crews felled some dead trees and pruned vegetation in the area. The cut vegetation was piled up around Tubbs Hill in preparation for burning.
Tubbs Hill will be closed to the public during the prescribed burn. The city says a minimum of two days of no access is expected.
