SEATTLE, Wash. – For the first time in Seattle Mariners history, a catcher has an American League Silver Slugger award.
Cal Raleigh, the new Seattle home run single-season king, earned the top offensive positional award today behind his 60-homer season.
Raleigh finished first among AL catchers in runs, home runs, RBI, walks, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and second in hits and stolen bases.
Raleigh is the eighth Mariner to win this award, and the first since Julio Rodriguez in 2022 and 2023.
