COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The City of Coeur d’Alene is getting ready for its annual leaf pick-up program that begins next week.
Leaf-Fest begins on Nov. 12. Pick-up will start south of Sherman Avenue and move north through the city.
During Leaf-Fest, the city asks everyone to move cars off the street if possible during pick-up and keep leaves about one foot away from the curb line to allow drainage.
The city says leaves will be picked up only once, so do not put leaves in the street after crews have been through your area. Do not include branches, grass clippings, garden debris or trash in your leaf piles.
Bagged leaves and needles will not be picked up.
Sweepers will follow city trucks to collect remaining or excess leaves.
