Expect foggy and cloudy weather for Halloween in the Inland Northwest. Our next weather system arrives tonight, bringing gusty and wet conditions for the start of November.
PLAN YOUR DAY
Valley fog will slow down your commute this morning, and it will stay cloudy even after the fog lifts. Temperatures will struggle to warm today with highs in the mid-40s at best in the late afternoon. Rain is possible this afternoon and evening, but not likely. Spokane and Coeur d’Alene are unlikely to get much rain until midnight approaches.
WHAT WE’RE TRACKING
Rain chances increase and expand across much of northern Washington and North Idaho after 11 PM through Saturday morning. Morning rain will turn to gusty winds Saturday evening. Significant gusts over 30 mph are possible late Saturday, similar to the brief bursts of wind we saw last weekend. A series of storms will keep the pattern active next week, but Sunday is looking like a sunny and pleasant day. Don’t forget to set your clocks back this weekend. Standard Time begins Sunday.
