KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. — Westbound I-90 is closed while crews repair overpass damage caused by a truck overnight.
According to Washington State Patrol, a truck with an oversized load hit the Bullfrog overpass on the freeway west of Cle Elum.
WSP says traffic is backed up and vehicles are being directed off the freeway as a detour.
Department of Transportation says crews are out Wednesday morning to assess the damage.
Governor Bob Ferguson says the state is putting together a plan for repairs but drivers should expect a significant challenge.
