SPOKANE, Wash. — If you or someone you know is a veteran in need of dental care, make sure to mark your calendars with this free, upcoming event!
On November 7, Smile More Spokane Family Dentistry will host its 6th annual “Smiles for Freedom” event.
The event provides local veterans with completely free dental care services as a way to thank them for their service.
Over the past several years, the event has provided over $57,000-worth of complimentary dental care to over 80 local veterans.
“Veteran dental care is a growing need in our country; approximately less than ten percent of veterans qualify for dental services. A veteran must be considered 100% disabled to qualify for VA dental care or have been specifically dentally harmed while in service. With dental health’s impact on general health, it is essential for us to help those who have served our country and communities. “Smiles For Freedom” provides a way for our office to give back by serving the dental needs of our local heroes. All services provided on this day will be FREE,” said Smile More Spokane Family Dentistry in a press release.
Dental services offering during the event will include a combination of diagnostic services, cleanings, fillings, extractions and other possible offerings based on individual needs.
The event will run from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. on November 7 at the Smile More Spokane Family Dentistry office (9671 N. Nevada, suite 200). Veterans must have an appointment scheduled to receive care.
Veterans should schedule an appointment s early as possible to ensure availability by calling 509-468-4040 or emailing info@smilemorespokane.com.
