MEAD, Wash. – Mt. Spokane Wildcats ran away with a 41-0 win tonight, shutting down the Ferris Saxons at Union Stadium.
The Wildcats led 28-0 at the half with touchdowns from Cade Stroscher, Ethan Williams, and two from Andrew Thomas.
In the third quarter, Mt. Spokane’s Jonny Haley intercepted Ferris’ QB Sam Colton and took it back for a touchdown, putting the Wildcats up 34-0 after the extra point was blocked.
Rashad Franklin had a two-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter to close out the game, making that Ferris’ third shut out of the season.
