KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — A man died in a motorcycle crash in the Coeur d’Alene National Forest on Thursday, according to Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 3:15 p.m. on October 16, KCSO responded to a report of a head-on crash between a motorcycle and a truck in the Fernan Saddle area of the Coeur d’Alene National Forest.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the motorcyclist trapped underneath a truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
KCSO said the identity of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin are notified.
As of Thursday night, the crash is still under investigation.
