CHEWELAH, Wash. — UPDATE, 5 p.m. on October 9: Washington State Patrol says the two people who died in a crash on Highway 395 just south of Chewelah were both riding on the motorcycle.
WSP says detectives from Spokane are en route and the crash is now being treated as a vehicular homicide.

A fatal crash is currently blocking both directions of U.S. Highway 395 just south of Chewelah.
