AUBURN, Wash – Notorious Spokane rapist Kevin Coe is now at his new home in Auburn, Washington and has registered as a level three sex offender.
Coe was released from the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island last week after the state said he no longer fit the criteria as a sexually violent predator.
He’s living at an adult family home, listed on the sex offender registry as being in the 1900 block of 15th St SE in Auburn.
Coe’s registration lists him as 78 years old, 6’2″ tall and weighing 150 pounds. Court records detail a string of health issues, including a past stroke and heart disease.
His picture shows an older, more disheveled man than the last time he was publicly seen, which was at his civil commitment trial in Spokane in 2008.
Coe, known to many as the South Hill Rapist, served 25 years in prison for rape, then 17 years at the Special Commitment Center.
His only condition of release is that he has to register as a sex offender.
