SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Two people were injured in a crash on I-90 near Four Lakes on Sunday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.
Around 9:30 a.m. on October 5, WSP responded to a crash on eastbound I-90, one mile east of Four Lakes near milepost 270-5.
WSP said a 55-year-old woman from Cheney, in a Honda CR-V, merged from SR-904 onto eastbound I-90 and made an unsafe lane change.
The Honda CR-V crashed into a Buick Verano, driven by a 62-year-old man from Sprague, also traveling eastbound on I-90.
After the crash, the Honda struck a street light pole and came to rest in the eastbound lane. The Buick rolled and came to rest on the side of the road.
WSP said the 62-year-old man was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to a hospital for his injuries.
The 55-year-old Cheney woman was also transported to a hospital for her injuries and charged with making an unsafe lane change.
No information about the nature of their injuries was provided.
