CHENEY, Wash. – Eastern Washington earned their get-right win.
In a 35-27 slugfest against the Portland State Vikings, the Eags won the Dam Cup through an elite rushing attack.
After dashing for 333 yards, the Eags impressed with backup quarterback Nate Bell contributing 175 of those yards, plus a 45-yard touchdown run to open the scoring.
EWU has their bye week next Saturday, then welcomes the Idaho Vandals to Roos Field on Oct. 18 at 4:00 p.m.
