CHEWELAH, Wash. — Drivers who use U.S. 395 near Chewelah can expect delays in both directions on Saturday.
The Washington State Department of Transportation says contractor crews will be striping the recently repaved road from 9 a.m. until around 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The stripe truck will travel at around 15 miles per hour or less. Drivers will not be allowed to pass during striping and can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
WSDOT says to give crews plenty of space to safely stripe the road and move over or slow down during a work zone when possible.
