MOSCOW, Idaho — The Moscow Police Department is investigating a fight on the University of Idaho campus that left one man with serious injuries.
While investigators are trying to determine what actually happened during the fight, the department is fighting what it calls “online rumors and misinformation.”
In a release issued Friday morning, police stated the fight was between two adult men. Police also said judging by the evidence gathered the victim was not “curb stomped.”
The department is also aware of people sending what is perceived as threatening messages to the non-injured participant in the fight.
Moscow police said, “Anyone engaged in this type of harassing and obstructive behavior that their actions could potentially constitute a criminal offense and they could face criminal charges.”
Moscow police said it will release more information about the incident when appropriate and permitted by law.
