POST FALLS, Idaho — A popular burger and custard restaurant will bring its signature steakburgers and frozen treats to North Idaho for the first time when Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens Tuesday, Sept. 30, in Post Falls.
The restaurant at 498 South Beck Road will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
This location marks Freddy’s first expansion into North Idaho and the Inland Northwest region, though the chain already has several locations in southern Idaho.
Freddy’s serves made-to-order steakburgers, shoestring fries, and frozen custard. The menu features items such as the Original Double Steakburger, Chicago-style hot dogs, and rotating frozen custard flavors.
According to the company’s website, brothers Bill and Randy Simon co-founded Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in 2002 with business partner Scott Redler. They named the restaurant after Bill and Randy’s father.
The chain has grown across multiple states since opening more than 20 years ago. The Post Falls location brings the brand to a market that has seen steady population growth and commercial development near the Idaho-Washington border.
The Beck Road location puts Freddy’s in a busy commercial area that serves both Post Falls residents and visitors traveling between Idaho and Washington.
