SPOKANE, Wash. — The City of Spokane is accepting grant applications for organizations that increase Spokane’s tourism and cultural environment.
Organizations around Spokane, including nonprofits, for-profits and public agencies are eligible to apply for the Spokane Tourist and Cultural Investment (TACI) grants.
Grants can go toward projects, programs, events and public or non-profit facilities that promote tourism and cultural investment.
Grant-eligible cultural activities can include sports, arts, street/park festivals, film, culinary and music.
Funding for the TACI grants comes from the lodging tax, which is paid by overnight stays at hotels.
Applications are due October 10 at 5 p.m.
