ATHOL, Idaho — A 16-year-old girl was hospitalized Wednesday morning after her scooter collided with a tow truck at a busy Athol intersection, according to Idaho State Police.
The crash occurred at 7:44 a.m. at the intersection of southbound Highway 95 off ramp and Highway 54, police said. The Athol teenager was riding a scooter when she collided with a tow truck driven by a 37-year-old Athol man.
Emergency responders transported the juvenile female to the hospital by ambulance, according to police. The extent of her injuries was not immediately released.
Idaho State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
