CLEARWATER COUNTY, Idaho — Deputies issued citations to a man who crashed his car and then left the scene near Orofino on Tuesday, according to Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 4 p.m. on September 9, deputies responded to a crash along Viewpoint Road.
CCSO said a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek had failed to negotiate a curve, hit a guardrail and then crashed into a tree.
The 54-year-old driver from Chattaroy, Washington then left the scene before deputies arrived.
CCSO said the driver was not injured and was soon found nearby and issued citations for failing to notify law enforcement about the crash and driving with an invalid license.
