SPOKANE, Wash. — A brush fire threatened multiple structures in west Spokane on Monday afternoon.
Around 2:30 p.m. on September 8, Spokane Fire Department responded to a brush fire burning along Downriver Drive.
SFD said the fire burned about 50×50 ft, before fire crews stopped its progression and knocked it down.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
West Downriver Park Drive is temporarily closed as crews finish mopping up the fire.
