LATAH COUNTY, Idaho. — UPDATED 9:15 p.m., September 1 – Level 2 (GET SET) evacuations are now in place for the wildfire burning northwest of Moscow near White Pine Campground and Highway 6 on Monday night, according to Latah County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO said Palouse River Road and all county and forest roads within the evacuation zone are restricted to fire traffic and residents.

People should avoid being in the area unnecessarily to allow space for first responders to work the fire.
LCSO said if you don’t feel safe, do not wait for official evacuation orders, leave immediately.
