SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Convention Center has a new presenting rights sponsorship.
Spokane Public Facilities District announced it has signed a ten-year presenting rights sponsorship with the Spokane Tribe of Indians. Starting on September 1, the convention center will be renamed as the Spokane Convention Center Presented by the Spokane Tribe of Indians.
Also included in the deal is a sponsorship for the Exhibit Hall, which will now become the Spokane Tribe of Indians Exhibit Hall.
“The Spokane Tribe of Indians is deeply honored and excited to become the presenting naming partner of the Spokane Convention Center and the Spokane Tribe of Indians Exhibit Hall” said Greg Abrahamson, Spokane Tribal Business Council Chair. “This partnership is a powerful reflection of our enduring connection to this land since time immemorial and our commitment to supporting the cultural, economic, and communal vitality of the region. We look forward to welcoming visitors from near and far to a space that celebrates collaboration, history, and the future we are building together.”
Last year, the convention center brought in over $32 million in economic impact to Spokane. Funds from this sponsorship deal plan to be invested back into the building.
