RAPID CITY, S.D. – Former Spokane Chief forward Rasmus Ekström signed a deal with the Rapid City Rush for the 2025-26 season.
The ECHL affiliate club of the Calgary Flames added Ekström today following the Swede’s conclusion of his WHL eligibility, playing the past two seasons in Spokane.
Ekström scored 84 points across his 102 Chiefs games, including 55 points in the 2024-25 season.
The Rush come off their third-straight season missing the ECHL playoffs and fewest goals scored in their past four seasons.
