SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — The property tax levy put forth by Spokane County Fire District 13 appears to be passing, as of Tuesday evening.
As of Tuesday night, 66.1% of voters are in favor of the proposition, which would renew a regular property tax levy of $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed value for six years, beginning in 2026.
Revenue from the levy would fund emergency medical services, such as EMS personnel, equipment and facilities.
Votes will continue to be counted over the next few days and results will be certified on August 19.
