CHENEY, Wash. — The fire burning near Cheney-Spokane Road is reported to be 10-13 acres in size and 100% dozer lined, according to Spokane County Fire District #3.
Crews will continue to reinforce the containment line, with the anticipation of wind speeds to increase in the area.

Firefighters are responding to a brush fire burning east of the intersection of Highway 904 and Cheney-Spokane Road.
According to fire officials, the fire is estimated at 2 to 3 acres and is spreading at a moderate rate.
An acre is roughly the size of a standard American football field, excluding the end zones.
