STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — A wildfire continues to burn north of Kettle Falls in Stevens County and people are advised to leave the area.
The Hope Fire has burned more than 9 square miles, or about 6,300 acres 15 miles north of Kettle Falls. The fire is 0% contained.
On Saturday, firefighters are establishing direct and indirect fire lines.
Level 3 evacuations are still in effect. A map of the latest ones can be seen below.
