SPOKANE, Wash. — Evacuations have been reduced for the 40-acre Aubrey White Fire in Riverside State Park.
According to Spokane County Fire District 10, evacuations have been downgraded to Level 1 (Get Ready) for people living east of the Spokane River and west of Old Trails Road.
Fire officials say to still be prepared, and monitor evacuations closely.
The Department of Natural Resources said on Sunday that forward progress on the fire had been stopped.
