SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A man died from a motorcycle crash on North Milan Road in Chattaroy Wednesday evening.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported around 6:30 p.m.
Community members tried to help the injured motorcyclist until first responders arrived.
The motorcyclist was life-flighted to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Deputies did not find any other victims or vehicles related to the crash. Deputies did find an alcohol container near the crash.
Investigators believe the man was riding his motorcycle north on Milan Road when he left the roadway, struck an embankment and came to a stop in the center of the road.
SCSO says impairment and speed are believed to be factors in this crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
