BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Just like his brother, Ryan Nembhard has a new home in the NBA.
The Dallas Mavericks picked up the former Gonzaga guard as an undrafted free agent as he comes off a Gonzaga and WCC record-breaking assist senior season, helping GU to win the WCC Tournament and an NCAA Tournament game.
Gonzaga broke a four-year draft streak with Nembhard’s non-selection.
Nembhard’s brother Andrew came up short in Game 7 of the NBA Finals earlier this week, the Indiana Pacers drafted him in 2022.
Nembhard will likely play in the NBA Summer League coming up in later July.
