OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — A man died in a crash Wednesday morning in Okanogan County.
According to Washington State Patrol, 59-year-old Apolinar Martin-Garcia of Mattawa was driving south on Highway 153 just west of Pateros around 7:30 a.m.
WSP says Martin-Garcia lost control of his vehicle, overcorrected and went into northbound lanes hitting another vehicle which hit a third.
Martin-Garcia died at the scene. Another driver was taken to an area hospital. A third driver was uninjured.
Highway 153 was shut down for several hours. WSP says drugs and alcohol were not suspected.
