SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane residents can celebrate Independence Day with live music and fireworks at Riverfront Park’s Lilac Bowl on July 4.
The celebration features live music starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 10 p.m. The Gesa Credit Union Pavilion will display red, white and blue lighting throughout the evening.
The Lilac Bowl, Riverfront’s largest open-air venue, offers unobstructed views of downtown Spokane.
Park officials encourage visitors who prefer a quieter experience to stroll through Riverfront and enjoy the pavilion’s light display without attending the fireworks show.
Families should bring blankets and snacks for the outdoor celebration.
Attendees should plan for typical summer evening weather conditions and an event lasting several hours.
