There is a new piece of artwork in Spokane’s Riverfront Park that’s in the shape of a bench.
Located in the park’s Sister Cities Connection Garden, it celebrates Spokane’s connection to Jilin City, China.
Like Spokane, Jilin City has a river running through it. Spokane artist Mallory Battista, pay homage to the Songhua River with her design of the bench.
The front of the bench features a tree while the back mosaic features two dragons along with a flaming pearl of wisdom.
