STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. — A man died in a crash on Highway 20 near Colville on Saturday, according to Washington State Patrol.
Around 9 p.m. on June 14, WSP responded to a crash on Highway 20 near milepost 357, about one mile east of Colville.
WSP said the driver, 79-year-old Michael Morey, was driving east on Highway 20 when he went around a curve and veered into the eastbound shoulder.
He then overcorrected toward the westbound shoulder and rolled multiple times.
Morey was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He was declared dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
