PULLMAN, Wash. – A new face on the Palouse, former LMU and UC Santa Barbara standout Orlando Johnson joins Washington State men’s basketball as their new general manager and an assistant coach.
Johnson recently retired in January, ending a 13-year professional career. The California native played five seasons in the NBA, mostly with the Indiana Pacers.
Johnson was a member of the 2013 Eastern Conference finalist Pacers team, and he played 12 games in that run.
The former shooting guard then played in nine different countries from Spain to Mongolia. He helped win league titles in Bosnia and Lebanon.
