CHATTAROY, Wash. — Grab your fishing pole and get the kids ready for a morning of free fishing at Bear Lake this Sunday.
Cops and Bobbers goes from 8 a.m. until noon in Bear Lake Regional Park.
During this event, your young anglers can meet Sheriff’s Office deputies, try their hand at catching fish or just come and enjoy the newly renovated park.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office says only kids 15 and under, anglers 70 or older and anglers with disabilities with a designated harvester companion card are allowed to fish at the lake.
Bait will be provided to kids 15 and under.
No Discovery Pass is needed during this event. Parents are welcome to help their children as they learn the joy of fishing.
