SPOKANE, Wash. — State and local firefighters contained a wildfire burning in the Dishman Hills area.
According to Spokane County Fire District 8, a brush fire was burning at the Pond Loop Trail about a half-mile from the Dishman Hills parking lot.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. and was contained at approximately an acre.
No trails are closed but crews advise the public to be careful in the area.
Firefighters will remain onsite for the day. The cause is under investigation.
