CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — The U.S. Forest Service is shutting down a large swatch of national park land while searching for the man accused of killing his three daughters.
Chelan County Emergency Management says the Enchantments and surrounding areas are closed until June 18 while law enforcement searches for Travis Decker.
The Forest Service says during the closure the public is prohibited from entering Forest Service lands, being on a Forest Service trail or road, or using an off-road vehicle on federal lands.
The closure is for the Icicle River area where Decker’s truck and the girls’ bodies were found.
