SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The 2024 No. 3 pick in the MLB draft is making waves this season with the Spokane Indians.
In the series opener against the Hillsboro Hops, first baseman Charlie Condon hit a three-run homer, tallied four RBIs and two runs to help Spokane get the win, Tuesday.
Spokane (27-25) is now tied with Hillsboro (27-25) for first place in the Northwest League.
Notable performances on offense can from right fielder Braylen Wimmer (3 H, 2 RBI) and center fielder Caleb Hobson (2 R, 2 H).
Konner Eaton started on the mound for the Indians. He pitched six innings and threw for three strikeouts allowing six runs and five hits.
The Indians and the Hops pick things up Wednesday for game two of the series at 6:35 p.m. in Avista Stadium.
