BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — A motorcyclist from Hauser, Idaho died in a crash on Spirit Lake Cutoff Road near Beare Road in Bonner County Saturday morning.
According to Idaho State Police, the 70-year-old man was driving north on Spirit Lake Cutoff Road around 10:15 a.m.
The motorcyclist lost control going around a curve and crashed into a water truck traveling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene despite wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
ISP said traffic on Spirit Lake Cutoff Road was stopped for around three hours while first responders were on the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
