SPOKANE, Wash. — ArtFest is back this weekend at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, marking its 40th anniversary in Spokane’s historic Browne’s Addition neighborhood.
The annual festival features arts and crafts from 75 artists across the Inland Northwest, offering attendees a wide variety of handmade works to browse and buy.
In addition to art, the three-day event includes live music performances, local food trucks, and beer from breweries such as Brick West Brewing and Townshend Cellar. Kids can also get hands-on with interactive art projects designed just for them.
“ArtFest is one of my favorite events of the year—there’s a little bit of something for everybody. You can come see the art, you can bring your kids and do art projects, and then my personal favorite is the live music. We’ll have live music going in our amphitheater all day long,” said Amanda Hiebert, music coordinator for the festival.
ArtFest runs Friday through Sunday. Admission is $5 and free for children five and under. Entry includes complimentary access to the museum’s current exhibit, Samurai: Sunrise, Sunset, which is in its final days.
