SPOKANE, Wash. — Come out and celebrate zines, independent and self-published books, comics drawings and more at the Central Library this Saturday.
The Spokane Zine Fest will take place on Saturday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is open to all and will include workshops and a maker studio for artists of all ages.
Events include drawing comics and comic-related games, making and sharing a mini-zine and an illustrated journal workshop.
Eastern Washington University students will be showing people how to make zines and buttons at the all-ages maker studio.
Spokane Zine Fest is free for everyone.
