SPOKANE, Wash. – The 2024-25 WHL point leader just earned a jump to a new league.
Andrew Cristall, who tallied a remarkable 132 points this season in 57 games played, is now a member of the Hershey Bears of the AHL. The Washington Capitals re-assigned the forward this morning.
Cristall clinched a WHL First All-Star Team nod, plus he was a finalist for the Four Broncos Trophy (WHL Player of the Year).
The Bears play Game 3 of the Atlantic Division Finals tomorrow against the Charlotte Checkers, it’s not known yet when Cristall will make his debut there.
